I am an extremely private person but I also have a preteen daughter that I would like her to have the best chance at the brutal halls of high school without any teasing that her mom writes books with spicy scenes.

Also, my outside family is rather religious and this protects both myself as well as them. I write because I love it, not necessarily to be recognized. I want my characters to speak for themselves.

Sometimes an authors life or attitude can ruin a book for some readers so I just want my books to be read for their stories.

I am a bit of a perfectionist. It took me 3 or 4 years to finish Pure not Broken but since the world is already created and I am already several chapters in, I am hoping to have it published no later than August of 2027. I do. I actually have several. I have always written stories but never published them. Currently though, I am working on a stand-alone that is kind of a reverse beauty and the beast type story where you are in the POV of a female villain.

I also have a witch fantasy romance of a girl who is an empath. After her twin is killed, she travels to the city where her sisters murderer is to find justice where the law cannot help.

Finally, although there are several others I have started and are collecting dust, the main series that I will probably spend 10-15 years working on before I publish is about a Gemini phoenix. It is a story that has lived in my head rent free since I was in high school and I have been obsessed with making sure it is perfect before I set it down on paper. Once I feel it has been ironed out properly then it will be an epic fantasy romance.
